We’ve talked before about the flexibility and advantages of homeschooling. My family is taking advantage of that flexibility this week, as some family situations have arisen that are causing us to put everything else aside and focus on the family. And the great thing about homeschooling is that we can do this – and there’s no worrying about missing the last few days of school as we focus on our family, or making up school work because they might be late to school or leaving early. It also allows us the time we need to talk about the things that are happening.
At the same time, and in keeping with the “put everything else aside” I mentioned above, this post is going to be short, and there won’t be one next week as we deal with our situation. I hope to be back the following week, and to be ready to start bringing you interesting topics for thinking about and discussion.
In the meantime, I just wanted to say thank you for reading the blog. It really means a lot that you take time out of your busy schedule to do so, and even though I’m taking a break right now, I want you to know how much I appreciate you being a reader.
